If you plan to buy more than one shortwave radio in the future, feel free to purchase the 891 without hesitation. However, if you only intend to own one shortwave radio, I recommend saving an extra month and purchasing the FT710 instead. While the 710 may not be as intuitive as the 7300, its ability to connect a display and place it on a desk makes it quite impressive.
