After exploring frequencies around 14.074 MHz for several months, I started experimenting with CW mode.
I tested it for two nights, using the GP equipment around 8 PM each night. However, on July 14th at 14.074 MHz, I was unable to make any contacts. Specifically, I couldn't receive anyone on 14.023 MHz.
I used a XieGu G90N, and transmitted CQ on 14.023 MHz with 10W power a few times, but I didn't receive any replies.
Is everyone primarily using 7.023 MHz for CW?
Are 14.023 MHz and 21.023 MHz primarily used during the day and evening?
The second question is, does CW mode on the radio have a QSK and QSK Time setting? If so, should I leave it set to the default?
