I recently purchased a HexBeam antenna, which was advertised as weighing 6.5 kg, but actually weighed 7.2 kg. After adding some extension rods and clamps, the final weight reached 8 kg.
The antenna needs to be mounted at a height of at least 5 meters; even 3 meters is barely usable.
I currently have a 4.8-meter lamp stand with a maximum weight capacity of 6 kg. The seller says that reducing the height will increase the weight capacity.
Can the guy wire be tightened after being raised, and can the height be reduced slightly to allow for temporary use?
Does anyone have any good suggestions? Are there any recommended shelving units?
I need something that can fit in my car's trunk, and I also want it to be compact and lightweight. For example, the current LED light stands, when stored, are about 1.2 meters long, which is already at its limit.
