Recently, CRAC has updated the technical competency validation question bank for amateur radio operators. Many other experts have also released practice tools based on the new question bank. I have made minor improvements to the existing practice tool based on the old question bank and created a practice tool based on the 2025 version of the question bank. While its functionality may not be as good as other practice tools, I hope it can help those who need it. Here is an overview of the practice tool:
1、Development Platform: The "Practitioner" platform was developed using the QT5.15.2 community edition.
2、 License Agreement: This exercise tool will be released under the QT license agreement and GPL2.0 open source protocol.
3. Supported Features: Supports practicing with question banks divided into A, B, and C sections. The practice modes include: sequential practice, random practice, error correction practice, and simulated exams (4 types). Supports skipping any questions (following the official question bank order), supports customizing font size, and allows images in questions to be displayed normally. This program is a single-player application and does not support online connectivity.
4. Supported Platforms: Supports WINDOWS/linux. Considering that most users are Windows users, only the Windows release version is provided. If you need to use it on other platforms, you can download the source code and compile it using the same development platform.
Currently, the simulator is in its final testing phase and is expected to be released soon. I am not a professional programmer; writing this program is purely for personal enjoyment. I hope that all HAM friends can successfully pass the test. We'll see each other in the air, 73.
