Notification for Class A and Class B exams, September 27, 2025

To all amateur radio enthusiasts:
The City Radio Association will organize a proficiency test for amateur radio operators of classes A and B. The registration deadline is September 16, 2025 (Tuesday) at 12:00 PM (Please register within the specified time frame; registrations after the deadline will be considered invalid). The deadline for updating information is September 18, 2025 (Thursday) at 12:00 PM (If information is not updated within the specified time, registration will be unsuccessful). This exam is only open to permanent residents of our city. Spaces are limited and will close when full.
Please find below the relevant information:
1. Exam Registration
1. Registration method: Submit registration materials via email to the following address:baoming@tjara.org
2. Information required for assessment:
A、 Please complete the registration form using your personal information (file name: "Registration Form - Name", e.g., "Registration Form - Dong Dazhi"). Refer to the attached "Registration Form Instructions" for detailed instructions on how to fill out the form. The registration form must be uploaded in its original file format (.txt text document). Please do not make any modifications to the formatting of the registration form!
B. Digital copies of color, non-official ID photos taken within the last 6 months, in .jpg format, front view, no portrait, the image must be clear, with a white background (do not use a wall as the background), the aspect ratio of the photo should be 3:4, and the resolution should be no less than 600×800 pixels and no more than 3375×4500 pixels. Please ensure that you provide the ID photos according to the requirements. The following types of photos are not allowed: full-body shots, landscape photos, lifestyle photos, photos with straps (halter tops), artistic photos, side views, irregular phone photos, selfies, etc. No accessories should be worn, and no thick-rimmed glasses should be worn (accessories and glasses obscuring facial features will affect identity verification during the exam). The photo cannot be photocopied or scanned from a paper copy. Photos that do not meet the requirements will affect your eligibility to enroll (file name: ID number-name, such as 120101190001010101-Dong Da Zhi).
C. Color photographs of the ID card front (portrait) and back (national emblem), with clear images, in JPG format. The edges and corners of the ID card must be fully visible in the photographs, and the resolution must be no less than 1024×768 pixels. All of the above information should be sent as attachments to the registration email (file names: "ID card front - Name", "ID card back - Name").
D. Individuals participating in the verification of amateur radio operating skills must have obtained an amateur radio license for at least 6 months and possess relevant practical experience, submitting operation certificates and electronic copies of their amateur radio licenses (with filenames "Operation Certificate - Name, License - Name") when registering.
All of the above information should be sent to the registration email address as an attachment.
3. If any of the submitted application materials do not meet the specified requirements, the association staff will notify the applicant via email within 3 business days and return the application materials.
Please note:
Once you have successfully sent the registration email and received a reply, please do not send it again! If there are any updates or corrections to your registration information, please indicate "Registration Update 1.2.3" in the subject line, where "1.2.3" represents the number of times the information has been updated. If you have not made any changes to your registration information, please do not send the same email again, as this may delay the normal review process!
II. Examination Time
September 27, 2025 (Saturday) afternoon (specific time to be confirmed based on admission ticket)
III. Examination venue
Tianjin City, Hebei District, Chenwei Road No. 3, Tianjin Public Trading and Communication Technology Co., Ltd. Conference Center
IV. Examination Format
The exam will be conducted using a closed-book written test format.
V. Regarding Admission Tickets
Candidates who receive a confirmation email indicating successful registration will receive an electronic version of their exam admission ticket in their inbox. They must download and print this electronic admission ticket themselves, and they are not allowed to modify any information on the admission ticket.

Six. Important Notes
1. Applicants must bring their original ID card and a printed copy of their admission ticket for verification before taking the exam (Applicants participating in Class B verification must also bring their original amateur radio license).
2. Applicants should bring their own pens, pencils, and erasers.
3. The examination venue does not provide parking spaces. Candidates are advised to use public transportation to reach the venue or find their own parking nearby.
