However, the overall communication and reception are still somewhat weak, and I can sense a difference in the directionality of transmission and reception. For example, I can receive messages but cannot transmit them back to the other person, or vice versa – they can hear me calling, but my message to them is very weak. The specific differences in individual balcony situations need to be determined through personal testing.

There's essentially no difference in performance; they are all pretty much omnidirectional (the directional properties of the "positive v" are negligible). Properly configured GP and "positive v" antennas have almost identical characteristics.
And, regarding the high level of noise, you need to understand where the noise is coming from. Besides the internal noise of your equipment, the remaining noise must be from the environment. Are you seeing too much noise because your antenna is picking up a lot of sources, while a directional antenna isn't?

Furthermore, a balanced antenna (specifically, a center-fed antenna) is effective in eliminating common-mode current interference. A properly grounded GP antenna can also work, but it's not as good as a center-fed antenna.

The ground wire consists of about ten thin wires, and a bundle of them is coiled around the balcony's iron railing in a snake-like pattern. Each time I assemble or disassemble the antenna, there are slight variations, but it still works reasonably well, allowing me to achieve a normal standing wave of 1.1-1.5.
