First, we need to find a piece of paper. I'm using an incorrectly filled-out envelope here. ()
Tear off a strip of paper approximately 2 centimeters wide. Since it's an envelope, we need to separate the connecting parts. If one side has writing on it, simply flip it inside out. Then, apply glue to the inner side and re-paste it like an envelope. However, do not connect the two ends; keep them a little apart. Apply glue again, fold it in half along the long edge (centering), and then glue the back (or the envelope) to it. Slightly trim the edges of the pull tab (the shorter part when folded, the longer part on the outside), so you have a simple envelope pull tab. I recommend pressing it firmly on the back after making it to prevent it from becoming loose.
I've made a few of these envelopes and plan to distribute them to see how they are received.
