The amateur radio development level in Inner Mongolia is relatively backward, but since the rise of unlicensed operation, more and more people interested in amateur radio have joined the ranks. This article is written to help new entrants obtain a license and set up their own stations. Please point out any errors or omissions.
Step 1
Follow the WeChat official account of the Inner Mongolia Amateur Radio Association to stay updated on exam news.(You can also check the relevant bureau of industry and information technology for official records.) Association's official WeChat account ↓

Stay informed about exam updates, similar to the example below ↓
Step three
Registration. The registration platforms are the official website of CRAC and ZhiPu. Below, we will use ZhiPu as an example (Note: There are requirements for the photos submitted during registration; please see the image below).
The submitted photos must have a white background.
Step 4
Find the corresponding test center based on the registration location; usually, the location will be specified.
Step five
Use paper-based answer sheets and question papers during the exam. Don't try to copy; everyone receives a different set of questions, so copying is pointless (Note: B class exams require submission of logs).
The following items are required for the exam: admission ticket, ID card, pencil, pen, eraser. (Mobile phones can be brought into the examination hall; during the exam, the invigilator will use an envelope to secure the phone.)

You can also view the operation certificate number from ZhiPu, and once you have the operation certificate number, you can view the electronic certificate.
Obtaining physical certificates takes a very long time; you can ask me how I know...
However, obtaining the operating license was surprisingly quick.
Step seven
Once you have obtained the certificate number, you can proceed with setting up your device. The time for setting up your device is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on weekdays. Inner Mongolia does not have an online channel for setting up devices (the most outdated episode).
The materials required are as follows: Application form (available for download from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website), a copy of the applicant's ID card, a copy of the guardian's ID card (if the applicant is underage, along with a copy of the guardian's ID card and proof of guardianship), and the table itself.
Please fill out the application form yourself and bring it with you.
