我现在是美国这边的志愿考官（Voluteer Examiner）。我们这边二月份的时候来了一对父子，儿子刚7岁。当天俩人一起考过Technican也就是类似国内的A级，然后四月份俩人又来考General，类似国内的B级，当天儿子考过了，父亲差几分。业余无线电在美国是这几年一直是老头乐，各个机构都在想办法拉动年轻人加入进来。平时我们这考场年轻人一般都是大学生，高中生，来个刚上小学的7岁孩子还是很少见的

I am currently a volunteer examiner on this side of the United States. In February, a father and son came in; the son was just 7 years old. They both took the Technician exam (similar to China's A-level), and then in April, they both took the General exam (similar to China's B-level). The son passed, but his father only scored slightly below passing.

In amateur radio in the United States, it has been a popular hobby for older adults in recent years. Various organizations are trying to attract younger people to join. Typically, the test takers at this venue are mostly college students and high school students; however, seeing a 7-year-old child who is just starting elementary school is quite rare.
