Many new enthusiasts have entered the field of amateur satellite communication, but they are not familiar with polarization.
This resulted in their initial communications being typically Low volume, poor signal quality, and frequent interruptions.List common factors that can affect amateur satellite communications.
I've been involved in amateur satellite communication for a long time, and I've upgraded my equipment several times. Recently, I've discovered some optimal methods for using dual-band satellites, and I've also received positive feedback from other users regarding the quality of the signals.
1. Why are two-way communications effective and beneficial for improved efficiency?
I am currently using the BaoFeng DM1701+UV5R (receive/transmit) U2V2 as my primary antenna, and the lactic acid bacteria and road bridge's "Tonglian" status.
The DM1701's OpenGD77 firmware includes built-in SAT auto-Doppler functionality.
Simply adjust the volume and noise reduction, set up the satellite, and then focus on the satellite's polarization spin during transit, making it easy to find the next signal.
Once the receiver is ready, adjust the transmitter to the VHF Doppler frequency of the AOS-1 phase, which corresponds to the initial ascent stage of the satellite.

Using CQ mode, rotate the Yagi antenna, increase the receiver volume, and you should be able to clearly hear your own voice on the receiver. Congratulations!

Generally, satellites passing through at angles of 60° or less do not exhibit rapid polarization rotation (except for SO50). If you observe unstable uplink performance,

This particular satellite pass was a low-angle pass that many new enthusiasts found unsettling, but the dual-frequency method perfectly solved this problem.
AOS at 7 degrees showed a clear downward trend, moving out of the obscured area and immediately initiating CQ. The receiver did not respond to my voice, and the call sign was interrupted after transmitting it.
Calling BG6HXD, respond with a rotating Yagi antenna simultaneously. My voice on the HXD callsign is heard clearly in the receiver, resulting in a successful QSO.
BI4ANH also called me, but due to their fast speaking speed, I was unable to fully transcribe and confirm. I asked QRZ receiver to confirm.
After completing the reply, a successful QSO was achieved with an angle of 12.5°/9.3°.
