For example, I use the 878 outdoors in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, and it works well indoors year-round (as long as it's a normal indoor environment).
Regarding summer, I find that the plastic material (the 878 case is made of plastic) can get quite hot, typically between 40°C and 48°C (according to Deepseek), and the maximum operating temperature is 55°C. If it gets too hot, the display shows a range of 48°C-55°C, which means there's a chance it could exceed the maximum value. So, I'm more concerned about damaging the device itself than the battery not lasting long. Batteries are relatively inexpensive compared to the device, so replacing them doesn't break the bank (doge).
