1. Obtaining a new license requires adding, removing, or changing device information. The acceptance of the old license depends on local requirements; however, fewer and fewer areas accept the old license.
2. The new license includes both the newly added equipment and all previously registered equipment that has not been deregistered. There is also an exception: for example, in Shanghai, if each piece of equipment requires a separate license, then the new license would only cover the newly added equipment.
