Notification regarding the replacement of amateur radio operator licenses issued by Zhejiang Province.
According to "Regulations for the Administration of Amateur Radio Stations" (Decree No. 67 of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), and "Circular on Further Optimizing the Management of Amateur Radio Stations by the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology" (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, No:(2024)(71) Regarding the relevant regulations, from June 2025 to December 31, 2026, the Zhejiang Province will implement the replacement of amateur radio operator certificates. The following information is provided regarding this matter:
I. Important notes for certificate replacement
1. Target group for this exchange: This batch of exchanges is specifically for members of the "China Radio and Communications Society Amateur Branch" with headquarters in Zhejiang Province.(CRAC)"Re-issuance of amateur radio B-class operator certificate" (i.e., obtaining a new green B-class certificate).
2. Local Authority Review: Issue and review certificates according to the original certificate, as specified by the local authority. For example, if the original certificate indicates that the issuing location is "Zhejiang Province," then the Zhejiang Provincial Radio and Communications Administration will be responsible for issuing and reviewing this certificate.
3. Regarding high-level principles: If a non-professional radio enthusiast holds multiple categories of operating licenses, only the highest level license can be replaced. For example, if they hold both A and B class licenses, only the B class license can be replaced.
II. Application Process for Replacement Certificate
1. The application process will be conducted in batches. Log into the "Amateur Radio Station Operation Technology Capability Verification and Information Management System" on CRAC's website (www.crac.org.cn). Click on the "Student Services" section, then select "Exam," "Apply for Replacement Certificate," and "Replacement Certificate Registration" to begin the application process. 2. For replacing licenses, personnel can only submit information such as address, phone number, and photos (for the white background photo used for issuing the license, if the photo already meets the compliant standard of 1 inch white background, no replacement is needed; otherwise, a standard 1-inch white background photo must be uploaded). Other information that cannot be modified by personnel applying for license replacement in the database.
3. If the information provided by applicants in the current batch is not compliant, the application will be rejected and they will not be able to re-submit supplementary materials in the same batch. They can only participate in subsequent batches of license replacement.
4. The time for replacing licenses in the current batch is determined by the release date. Specific times can be checked on the registration system. Please follow the "Zhejiang Provincial Amateur Radio Association" WeChat official account for license issuance notifications.
