Regarding the recent operation license replacement work that everyone is concerned about, the Anhui Province Amateur Radio Enthusiasts Association has contacted the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and has responded to some of the questions raised by members. The following information has been compiled and released:
Q1: When does the replacement of the license begin?
A1: Starting from the seventh day, the main work of the provincial department will focus on monitoring the radio environment during the Gaokao (National Higher Education Entrance Examination). The preliminary plan for relevant license renewal work in Anhui Province is to begin in mid-to-late June. A notification will be published on the WeChat official account of "[Anhui Industry and Information]" at that time.
Q2: After changing my license, are there any physical certificate issues or fees associated with the change?
A2: The relevant authorities are currently in discussion.
Q3: If the original driver's license was issued in Anhui Province, how can I apply for a new one?
A3: The provincial department plans to use an online application submission method for verification, prioritizing applications submitted through the applicant's current residence and local government. For example, if your current residence is in Chizhou, you would submit your application through the exchange certificate link published by the Chizhou government.
Q4: If the original driver's license was issued outside of Anhui Province, can it be exchanged for an Anhui-issued license?
A4: If the original driver's license issuance location is not in Anhui Province, due to limitations in the database data, it is 【not recommended】 to submit an application in Anhui. This may result in being unable to query the data and therefore be unable to obtain a new license.
Q5: Can I apply for a new license in multiple locations at the same time?
A5: Not recommended, as it may lead to data conflicts and prevent license replacement.
