During flashing, a message appears indicating that the handheld device has not been connected.

Does this Q1 test rule out issues with the write frequency line?

Q2: This is the CPS I'm using. Is it an outdated version?

I found the latest CPS flyer on the openGD77 website in Q3, but the link wouldn't load. Do I need to use a VPN to download it?

Q1A: Have you flashed the driver? Have you entered DFU mode to flash the device?
Q2.3A: On the forum, use the new version. If possible, using a VPN is best, but I didn't have one set up when I downloaded it. If you still can't access it, then enable your VPN.

BG2GFC Thank you for your response. I have already updated them on the forum, and I believe the handheld device is correctly in DFU mode (the top indicator light flashes red and green alternately, and the display turns off). However, it still shows the following:

I'm not sure about that either; I remember that when I installed the driver for the openGDA77CPS, it should have automatically installed using CMD.

This is the driver address provided by opengd77, which contains drivers for Windows 10.
You can view driver information directly from Device Manager to see if the currently mounted driver is the correct one. If not, you can try manually updating the driver.

I'm not sure why it seems like I can't enter DFU mode, but no matter which USB port I try, I can only connect to the computer in regular USB mode. This is really strange.

First, you need to match the frequency. The simulated UV5R is not acceptable. Second, you need a driver. You can contact me; just search for my call sign. I have complete write-up software and drivers, including Chinese firmware.

After a day of struggling, I finally managed to successfully burn the data (approximately).

Finally, I removed all associated drivers and reinstalled them, which then successfully connected to the computer.😆
