Bi4KKF I disagree with this. Many PTT (presumably, a specific type of device) sessions are very short, similar to the duration of a mouse click, especially those used on touch-sensitive surfaces.
Many Hams in North America have also been testing this method recently, but apparently they are still waiting to see the results due to a rare solar flare that occurred over the past few days. I personally tested it using my Yaesu FT-891 in SSB and CW modes, and even with the default microphone, I was able to send simple messages. The effect and principle are similar to traditional straight key telegraphs. It's easy to operate, with a short stroke and high sensitivity. However, since I am still relatively new to CW, my sending and receiving speeds are quite slow.
Passing coordinates using a numeric shorthand can significantly improve efficiency, but accuracy depends on both parties knowing that the other is using the same shorthand. Otherwise, the decoded result will be garbled characters.
