Ningbo HAM Home Summer Fun Event Announcement
To enrich amateur radio activities in Ningbo, promote mutual understanding among amateur radio enthusiasts in the Ningbo area, and provide opportunities for sharing technical knowledge and resources, we are organizing a summer "Fun Radio" event. We welcome everyone to explore the fascinating properties of radio waves together.
Activity 1: "Summer Breeze, Radio Waves Connecting, HAM Party"
Time and Location: From late afternoon on May 31st to morning of June 1st. The large lawn at the top of Tao Yuan Academy, Haoshu District.
Content: Setting up, technical exchange, barbecue, camping, radio promotion, flea market, first aid training, visiting the Zhejiang East Historical Figures Memorial Hall, etc. It is recommended to bring your own tent, and dinner will be served at the school restaurant (AA basis). HAMs who require accommodation can stay in guest rooms.
Activity 2: "Fate brings people together" - Direct Frequency Beacon at Taibai Mountain, 145.1 MHz
Time: June 7th, 19:00-20:00 (if rain, the event will be postponed)
Location: At the northern foot of Taibai Mountain, at an altitude of 539 meters. When propagation conditions are favorable, direct connection with Ningbo (excluding Xiangshan and Ninghai), Zhoushan, Shaoxing, Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and eastern Jiangsu and eastern Shandong is possible.
Equipment: Two-station, two-person operation, full-mode radio, 25W, Diamond NR22L single-band 2.5m GP antenna / three-element Yagi antenna.
The HAM who successfully checked in received 2 points for the Ningbo HAM Home, which were added to their annual total score.
