The equipment consists of a 7300 transceiver with a sampling board outputting to an SDR console V3, which activates the SKIMMER function and outputs to a virtual sound card. After running the CW skimmer, it is set to SOFTROCK-IF. Once running, it can decode and synchronize. However, after changing the frequency, the SKIMMER's frequency begins to drift, typically by 2-3 kHz. Even when setting the offset within the AUDIO IF frequency, the frequency will still shift when adjusted, which is frustrating. I'm not sure where the problem lies, so I'm posting here to see if anyone has experience in resolving this issue.
