BG1QGD I saw that it was a CW competition. My CW skills were still at the elementary school level, and I could easily handle QSOs with domestic radio stations within 20 meters. However, QSOs exceeding 25 meters put a lot of pressure on me, as I would need to copy both the global callsign and the competition number.
I didn't want to get too tired, so I decided to leave this for later when my skills have improved. However, during competitions, I will always listen attentively, which is a good opportunity to practice copying signals.
Of course, some friends might say that with devices like the 7300 DX10 and 710, you can easily decode CW, which would save a lot of effort. But in my opinion, this kind of playing lacks soul.
