sduo Compared to software, I would recommend using handwritten notes on paper – they are elegant, stable, and provide a clear record.
When I don't have a notebook and pen, I use my phone as an emergency note-taking device.
For computers, use N1MM.

If I don't have a computer, I write everything down on paper. Then, later, I use the computer to organize it. If I do have a computer, I use N1MM and add notes in Pinyin. After that, I upload the information to QST (QRZ) first, then to LOTW. This ensures that all the details are available on both platforms.
