BD4WCL The noise floor of my SDR is very high. Are there any ways to reduce the noise? Even the UVcom devices are worse than my handheld radio. I'm using an RTL-SDR V4. Please help! Please help!
BA7NNC-JOE BD4WCL Replacing the SDR console, this software has excellent noise reduction capabilities.
NB6G The same antenna exchange platform, does it still exist? Additionally, the inherent noise in SDRs seems to be quite high, and this is likely due to factors such as power supply issues and electrical interference from the computer.
BD4WCL NB6G The SDRs are almost indistinguishable; you can't tell them apart without another station testing the signal. The callsigns are also not clear.
NB6G BD4WCL If you're using a laptop, try plugging in and unplugging the power adapter to see if there's any difference. If you're using a desktop computer, it's best to plug directly into the motherboard's USB port. Finally, check the cable that connects to the SDR, to make sure there are no damaged shielding layers or loose connections.
BA7NNC-JOE BD4WCL Okay, let's get rid of the RTL and replace it with something more fun, like RSP1A RSPDX RX888... 🤪
