Having become accustomed to using spectrum-equipped devices, I felt like I was blind without it. To improve the human-machine interaction of the on-board 7100, I decided to implement spectrum functionality by extracting the mid-band signal and using an SDR. After researching extensively online, the solution seemed very mature, but there were no readily available products. Fortunately, BI4KSR released an open-source mid-band buffer amplifier board, which I then modified based on the 7100's frequency to create a filter. Following the diagram, I went through some difficulties, but eventually succeeded! The newly added spectrum functionality immediately proved its worth. Previously, the stable DC power supply that I had been using constantly caused interference, but without the spectrum, I didn't notice it. Now, everything is clear and easy to see! It's so much better!
