本人的IC-705因故导致PCB损坏需要返厂维修，不知有没有友台遇到过类似的情况，可否介绍一下送回日本维修的流程和渠道。比如是否有代购之类的商家可以提供协助送修的服务、如果可以自己寄修是否需要先联系ICOM进行登记、寄修过程中需要注意的事项等等，不一而足。又或者知道国内有能拿到PCB板子的维修，也请不吝赐教。

拿板子估计麻烦，除非二手拆机的优先咨询购买渠道吧，然后有些爱好者往返日本，代购日版机的，也可以问一下他们。

Liridice It's definitely necessary to figure out a way to get the radio back for repair. Within the warranty period, free repairs are mainly for non-human-caused issues. Regarding purchasing parts, I previously contacted Yaesu and they said they wouldn't sell parts. However, I was told that if I could find a local service center in China, they would provide the repair at my expense. ICOM gave me a QQ account of an agent, but it took a long time to get in touch with them.

Liridice I had a similar issue before (purchased on Xianyu), and I asked the largest authorized dealer on Taobao. They said it wasn't their product, but they also mentioned that there was a national distributor, and they would handle repairs as part of the store's warranty. You can try contacting them. There is also a repair expert on Douyin (TikTok). Search for keywords like "705 repair," and you will find him. He is very professional. Ultimately, it involves spending money, so it might be more convenient to do it domestically.

My one also broke, and I recently bought an IC-705. After receiving it, the USB charging port shorted out, and the seller asked me to send it back to Japan for testing, which would take several months. Since this device can still function normally without using USB charging, I don't want to go through all that trouble, plus I have a certain confidence in my own electronic skills, so I always think that replacing a couple of parts will fix it. BI7BST It's amazing, mine also started smoking when I first got it and used USB charging. After that, even a few minutes of USB charging resulted in a strong odor, as if it wasn't taking any charge at all, but other functions were still working normally. I took it to a repair shop, but they couldn't find anything wrong, so I continued using it until now. BQB saw my device and said there was nothing they could do; they recommended returning it for a refund.

Liridice Huh? Is this a common problem? When I plugged in the Coolpad charger directly into a USB port, it triggered the short-circuit protection. Plugging it into a computer also worked with USB recognition, but the current exceeded 3A, and even a random cable I had previously used burned out. Replacing the BQB Type-C board didn't help either; when I removed the small board and tested internally from the connector, there were no short circuits anywhere. Later, I was advised to buy a thermal camera to see where it was overheating, but I stopped further troubleshooting.
