First, let me remind you of something beforehand:
Do not directly connect the 46001 without debugging your device first, as you will be heavily criticized. Furthermore, it has many drawbacks, poor sound quality, and the new voice-controlled microphone developed by Nan Shan requires manual activation each time you use Nan Shan's communication system. It may also automatically turn off at times, leading to further frustration.
Okay, let's get to the main point.
If you're a real budget traveler, read on below. If you can afford to spend another 1000 yuan, just buy the box and DMR radio directly. However, if you already have these items, there's no need to follow this tutorial.
You will need the following:
A handheld radio with K channels (I use the QuanSheng UV-K6, but you can also use the BaoFeng UV-5R, which is the same).
An audio cable with one end being 3.5mm and the other being 2.5mm.
One computer (with a 3.5mm microphone jack)
Another walkie-talkie
The hardware is complete; the software still needed.
South Mountain radio communication
DMR ID
Tutorial begins
Step 1: First, turn on the UV-K6 and enter a frequency (e.g., 438.500, recommended setting to sub-audio and low power). Then, insert the cable, with the 2.5mm segment connecting to the uppermost 2.5mm port. After that, connect the 3.5mm port to the microphone jack on your computer (the computer side is not demonstrated here because they are different).

Step 2: Configure the computer for South Mountain communication. First, log in and open the settings page. Then, select "More Settings" and choose "Input/Output Devices." Change the input to one that includes the text "microphone," then click "OK." Finally, restart the computer.

Step three: Reopen the Nantou radio, open the settings page, select "More Settings," and enable the voice-activated microphone function.

Step 4: Return to the previous channel, then enter channel 46001. Turn on your second handheld radio and configure the frequency according to your settings. Once configured, you can begin speaking. It is recommended that you first press PTT for a few seconds before speaking. Note that the UV-K6 requires volume adjustment; do not set it too high, as this may cause distortion and lead to being criticized by others.
