Since the "Air Conference" of 1940, May 5th has become a shared holiday for amateur radio enthusiasts in China. This day not only carries the legacy of history but also embodies the passion and pursuit of countless enthusiasts for radio technology. On this significant occasion, to promote communication and enhance everyone's technical skills, the Jinan Yellow River Amateur Radio Service Group will organize a professional and fun offline exchange event. We invite all amateur radio enthusiasts to register and participate. The following details are provided:
Event details:
Shortwave Communication: Experienced HAMs can use the equipment provided by us for free communication. New HAMs can also experience communication under the guidance of experienced members in our group, participate in the air-to-air communication activity organized by CRAC in 2025, and complete your "First HF QSO" and "First Ragchew"!
"Eye Ball QSO": Participants can exchange "Eye Ball QSO" cards on-site, and SSTV transmission/reception will be performed based on the situation.
Enjoy a tea session and engaging conversation: Invite key figures from the Yellow River community to participate in an on-site technical exchange, covering topics such as equipment selection, DIY creation, competition techniques, and learning experiences with CW.
Equipment Display: A dedicated display area will be set up, where attendees can bring their own "treasures" to showcase and discuss with fellow enthusiasts.
Farm Stay: Provides cooking utensils and ingredients, allowing you to freely grill and cook everything (except for yourself).

Event duration: May 4th to May 5th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Location of the event: Jinan Yellow River Amateur Radio "HAM's Home" (search for "HAM's Home")
Registration method: Scan the QR code at the end of this document to register yourself; on-site registration will not be accepted.
Important notes:
The location of the event is relatively far from the city center, so it's recommended to drive or carpool. Due to high visitor traffic during holidays, please pay attention to safety when traveling.
This event will not charge for venue, equipment, etc. Food costs will be split equally among participants (participants choose their own meals).
You can return on the evening of the 4th, or you can stay at HAM's place. However, due to limited resources and space, those staying overnight are advised to bring their own bedding (or a tent and sleeping bag for camping in the yard).
