A few days ago, Seven Public received a "red envelope" in the DX group. After further investigation, it turned out that it was given by BG2BFG, a friend, to celebrate their award of the HA100IARU certificate. The commemorative event celebrating the 100th anniversary of IARU, which started earlier, concluded on April 18 (such as HA100IARU). Those that started later, such as B100IARU, continued for a while. This story begins with the special commemorative platform set up by HA100T for BG2BFG's transcontinental "rescue" operation...
The ultimate "rescue" of the Hungarian HA100T
This year's Hungarian Radio Amateurs Association(MRASZ)An event was organized to commemorate the International Amateur Radio Union.(IARU)Celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Frequency band / Mode:
Using CW, SSB, and DIGI modes in the HF frequency band from 160 to 10 meters.
The following special call signs were established:
HA100IARU, HG100IARU, HA100Y, HA100E, HA100A, HA100R, HA100C, HA100L, HA100B, HA100T, HA100I, HA100O, HA100N
During this event, we organized a puzzle game. By tuning into different radio stations with various file extensions, participants could assemble the phrase "IARU 100 YEAR CELEBRATION" and receive a certificate.
BG2BFG's friend participated in this jigsaw puzzle activity. However, he was still missing one HA100T piece until the last few hours of the event, which meant the puzzle couldn't be completed and it ended with a sense of disappointment.

The HA100T cannot complete the puzzle if it does not have a connection.
Only a few hours left until the event ends! BG2BFG, in a hurry, sent a distress message to the organizers HA2NA, hoping to complete the puzzle by having a QSO with HA100T.

An urgent SOS plea for help
To my surprise, I quickly received a reply from HA2NA: "Please write down the time in UTC, the frequency, and the mode. I will be there!"

Communication before "rescue"
The exciting moment had arrived: at midnight, HA100T used FT4 mode on the 20-meter band at 14.084 MHz to establish a special QSO with BG2BFG, fulfilling his long-held desire.

After successfully completing the communication, BG2BFG finally received the award he had been hoping for. He said that this award was particularly meaningful to him.
