First, Sichuan doesn't have a truly national-level television station. Why is that?
Just last month, I learned that a Sichuan-based radio station established a nationwide operation in Tianjin. After consulting with the Tianjin Bureau of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), which informed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) about the situation, it was discovered that the Sichuan license had not been linked to the internet and could not be identified by existing Sichuan license numbers. Therefore, it did not comply with Article 24 of the new regulations, and in a strict sense, it was non-compliant.
Article 24: If a non-commercial amateur radio station is established in an area exceeding the administrative region of the applicant's residence, the radio management agency making the decision to grant a license shall notify the relevant provincial, autonomous regional, or municipal radio management agencies.
Furthermore, when setting up a booth in any province, proof of residency is required, including Sichuan. Therefore, you will need to prepare documents such as student ID cards or proof of employment, unless your ID card is from Sichuan.
And, most importantly!!! You don't even need to cancel your existing license. According to the new regulations, you can apply for multiple licenses in different provinces, such as my case where I have a license from both Tianjin and Sichuan.
