bi6mhq The antenna just arrived today, and I tried it out for the first time around 10 PM. I was using 14.270 MHz to contact someone in Fujian Telecom, Liaoning. I transmitted at 10 watts, and he said my signal strength was around 56 or 57. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear him clearly because the noise was too high. It seemed like his signal would suddenly drop whenever he called out his call sign.
I feel a sense of accomplishment when I achieve results with QRP compared to high-power stations.
Usage:
Genuine V antenna(P-ESA). A small, one-sided balcony on the fourth floor, with no lamps or supports; a 50cm PVC pipe is simply inserted into a flower pot on the ground.
G106C, 10W transmitter.
The computer uses a desktop PC power supply.
I was able to contact a radio station located 1500 kilometers away.
