Open hamstudy.org, click "Find a session" on the right side of the webpage or below the phone, or go directly to https://hamstudy.org/sessions.
Select the exam type you want to view (in-person/remote)
(Optional) Select the VEC you want to view.
Select the exam you want to register for (using the example of the AD4VE team's exam on April 6, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM). (The date bug that previously existed on hamstudy.org has been fixed; when you view the exam selection page, you will see the time and date corresponding to your computer's time zone.) Once you are there, read the team's instructions and scroll to the bottom, then click "register".
- Simply register using the instructions on the screen (we recommend that users under the age of 13 do not participate in online exams, as parental consent for the COPPA agreement is required in this case).
Email is required. Mobile phone number must be a valid US mobile phone number; it cannot be left blank.
Once the information has been verified, click "Submit".
Then, use the information you found in the "hamstudy" instructions to pay and register; this completes the process.
