我也是FT8疯狂短连接，就我踩坑来看断连接不是固件的问题，在那个USB线和音频线两头都加个磁环就没问题了。

XieGu G90S Firmware Troubleshooting

When I connected it to my computer and tried using FT8 with the control cable, I kept getting an error message saying "connection timeout." I tried everything: replacing the cable, replacing the computer, updating drivers, changing software, and even replacing DLL files. Finally, after contacting technical support at "Tian Kong," they were able to resolve the issue by flashing a new firmware version. Here's the information about the problematic firmware version:

With the G90N, I'm picking up the antenna. Previously, when I was using a direct-to-antenna (DTA) antenna, I was experiencing interference from other radio stations. However, switching to the GP4 eliminated the interference.
What antenna are you using?

BI1KXE The JYR223 Yagi antenna, however, only lasted for 2 hours in the 15-meter band before failing, and there were no other issues with the other bands or times.

I'm also a big fan of FT8 with short connections, and after my own experience, I can confirm that the problem isn't related to the firmware. Adding a magnetic ring to both ends of the USB cable and audio cable solved the issue for me.

In summary, EMC protection was inadequate.

Just use the VOX audio control and a standard audio cable. The USB to serial converter is not reliable.
