Disclaimer: This document is not an official tutorial and is intended only as a reference for filling out forms and providing rough step-by-step guidance. Please follow the requirements of the local radio monitoring station.This article may contain errors, and we welcome comments and corrections in the comment section.
Before reading this article, we strongly recommend that you:First, install the following three apps on your phone: ① ZhiPu ② Alipay ③ ZhiGuiTong
1. Submit application for setup (initial application for license and call sign)
[Reminder]First, make sure you have obtained your operating license number (currently a number that starts with "A" followed by digits), which can be obtained and verified on the ability verification platform website or in the ZhiPu app used for registration.
The exam grading in Guangxi is generally quite fast; the fastest ones take about two hours, while those taking longer than a week are rare. Once the monitoring station transmits the results, you still need to wait for CRAC to confirm them before receiving your certificate number. Therefore, you can only wait. You won't be able to obtain the physical operation certificate.(If you want it to happen, you still need to encourage the organizing unit.)Furthermore, obtaining an operating license from outside Guangxi or taking exams outside of Guangxi is also acceptable. As long as you have this series of certificate numbers, you can proceed with the application process.
1. In newer versions of web browsers on your computer, search. Guangxi Digital Government Integration PlatformOr, you can directly open the URL. https://zwfw.gxzf.gov.cn/,
If this is your first time using the platform, please register in the top right corner. If you already have an account, please log in. (For minors, registration will be done using their minor ID.)。
2. We directly search for "amateur" within the central frame. Then, we search again. Finally, we complete the online application.
3. On the new page, first click on the blue text labeled "Applicant's Acknowledgment," which will then display a pop-up box. After reading the content for 5 seconds, you can check the box to indicate agreement. Then proceed to complete the application process.
[Reminder]Current draft saved on the Guangxi government platform.You cannot re-enter to recover; instead, click on your name and the asterisk in the top right corner of the homepage, as shown in the image.To restore a draft, you must first go to your personal center and find it in the "My Tasks" section on the left-hand side. You will also be prompted with a countdown timer that lasts for several seconds before you can fill out the form. Please think carefully before proceeding.
4. Simply fill out the form according to the instructions in the diagram.
4.1.1 The application period for using a station starts from the date of filling out the form, and cannot exceed 5 years (remember to renew if it expires).
4.2 Regarding setting up the area: For most people in Guangxi who use handheld radios, select "carry on back or hold" as the setup method and set the range to "within the province" (meaning you will not use the radio outside of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region).
If you need to use a radio outside of Guangxi Province, you must also select "Provincial" and enter "National" in the area setting.You must also complete a statement of circumstances.If you have cross-provincial needs, you can contact a colleague at the monitoring station or download the situation report template file as shown in the diagram and fill it out.Convert to PDF formatTo be uploaded later. 4.3 Regarding device parameters: Please note the radio label (typically found on the back of a handheld radio after removing the battery):
a. CMIIT ID That is, the "authorization code," a sequence of numbers that begin with the year. Please fill in the following:"Approval code for launch device model"
b. Serial Number That is"Device factory serial number"Typically, this sequence of numbers appears below the barcode.
c. Operating frequency and maximum transmission power: Check the boxes as indicated on the label, or refer to the example shown below for clarification. You can also find this information in the ZhiPu app.
d. Polarization method and antenna gain sizePlease refer to the manual orConsult with a merchant about purchasing。Please note the gain of the antenna in the Guangxi table.Locked to dBi units。
e. Currently, all forms in Guangxi are mandatory.Enter the bandwidth used and locked frequency in kHz. As shown in the example below.Consult with a merchant or check on ZhiPu App.。
5. Begin signing
5.1 If it's inconvenient to print and sign the form using a printer, you can use"Online signature"Click on the "Online Signature" blue text. For first-time use of an electronic signature, you must…Apply for a personal hand-signed seal.This process can be a bit complicated, but it's straightforward if you follow the steps on the page: sign, receive your verification code, and complete the in-person authentication. Once you've applied, when you need to sign again, simply drag your signature from the designated area on the right side of the document into the appropriate field.
Electronic signatures have very strong limitations in terms of validity: Once an electronic signature is applied,Refresh this page.Returning to the previous page to confirm and re-fill, or long-term inactivity of tabs, or restoring from drafts, will all cause…The notarized seal has expired., you need to re-walk through the "drag and verify" process (or the "verify code/face scan" process).
5.2 If the above methods are too cumbersome, you can use:"Offline signature"1. Click on the blue underlined text to switch, then download this PDF and print it out. Write your name on each page with a pen, then scan (you can use dedicated scanning software or the "Files" mode in some phone systems' cameras; make sure you capture all 6 pages). Then upload it. If the photo/file is not on your computer, click "Scan & Upload" in the "Shortcut" menu.
6. Upload photos and supporting documents: Select "Electronic Documents" for document submission format.(Please do not mail the paper materials to Nanning.)
6.1.1 Upload a photo of the nameplate (with S/N code) and a frontal view of the machine to the "Documentation Materials" section. (If the application for the designated area was previously submitted as a PDF, upload it here.)
6.1.2 "Resident ID": Upload photos of the applicant's and their guardian's (if applicable) identification documents, both front and back. For minors, upload photos of the minor and the guardian (if the guardian is the head of household), as shown on the resident ID or household registration document.
6.2 If the photo/file is not on your computer, you can upload it by scanning a QR code: After clicking "Quick Upload," use any app on your phone to scan the QR code. Once you select the photo on your phone, it will be displayed on the government platform on your computer.It's probably a bit more convenient than sending the file through WeChat File Transfer and then downloading it.
6.3 Once the transmission is complete, proceed to the next step.First, choose your preferred delivery method (approximately "air"). You can choose any option; it doesn't matter! You can either pick up the items in person or have them shipped to you.. You will have another opportunity to confirm the accuracy of the material content. Once you confirm that it is correct, please submit it.
- Please keep your phone lines open.In general, the initial review of the second-day city monitoring station will be conducted.If you encounter a problem, please call directly to get instructions on how to fix it.If everything goes smoothly, you should receive a confirmation SMS within approximately 3 business days, with a maximum of 3 weeks.
2. Check application status
① On desktop: Log in at the top right corner of the homepage.Click on your name and the asterisk to access your personal center.The result was exactly what I needed.
② On the "My" section of the Zhiguotong app (located in the lower right corner): → "Progress on Application" (This usually shows the latest version. If you don't see it, switch to the new version).
Display "Pending" in blue.It's possible that the local monitoring station hasn't yet reviewed it, or that it has only been preliminarily reviewed and is currently undergoing review by the regional monitoring station. Please be patient while waiting for a decision.
Displays a gray "Not Accepted" message.: For desktop computersClick on the numbers below the "Application for Serial Number"，Click "Details" on the mobile version.You can view the reason for return.
If you have any questions, please call the local radio monitoring station to inquire about the situation. Remember to call during their working hours, which are listed here: Contact information for all directly affiliated units of the Industry and Information Technology Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

3. View and download your license.
After approximately a week of waiting, you received a message one morning indicating that your application was being processed. An hour later, you received another message: "Congratulations, your application has been approved."

4. Some accounts prompt you to use the ZhiGuiTong app for facial verification... However, this QR code can be used toAlipay AppScanning with WeChat or other apps will also provide a prompt.Open Alipay in your browser and drag it to open.For example:
- How do I download the license? Click on the license thumbnail to enlarge it, then right-click on the large license and save it as.
② Check in the ZhiGuTong app on your phone.
Click on "My" in the bottom right corner, log in with your account, then click on "My Documents" in the middle. Click "View All" or "More Documents". Then, on the right side of "Electronic Documents", click "+ Add", select "Radio License", and confirm with facial recognition.
At this point, the radio license was also added. Click on "Document Details" → View Photo.There's even a button to download the photos here.
If neither your phone nor your computer shows that a radio license is available to add, in addition to refreshing the interface, it is recommended to try again around noon on the second business day.
I don't actually have a physical license... I can purchase a case (see this forum article titled " Q&A: Seeking assistance with document organization. ) Then, I would use the copper plate to print and insert it...
[Also, a note on], if you areBefore August 2024The application for a license granting permission was approved, but the "ZhiGuiTong" app cannot be downloaded. Instead, you should switch to the personal center on the computer web interface. Old version -> Autonomous regionLevel, click on the application serial number to directly download the PDF.
If you obtained your license after August 2024, please disregard this section; it describes the old system's procedure.
The new version of the image license is much blurrier than the old version in PDF format.
