The CRAC 2023 second-round C-class amateur radio operation technical capability verification assessment was successfully held on September 9, 2023, at the Kairia Hotel in Shangqiu City, Henan Province.
The delegation, led by Li Haiqing (President of the Amateur Radio Division of the China Association of Wireless Telegraphy, former Deputy Director of the Bureau of Wireless Telegraphy under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), along with Vice President and Secretary General Yin Hu, Assistant Secretary General Lü Pei'an, Head of the Card Management Department Teng Yida, and Special Consultant Chen Ping, arrived in Shangqiu to provide guidance and jointly handle examination work.
The exam was organized and administered by the Henan Province Radio and Communications Association. The examination committee, consisting of over ten amateur radio enthusiasts and volunteers led by President Gao Jianxing and Secretary-General Feng Huiqin of the association, provided services such as accommodation booking, meal arrangements, transportation guidance, and exam supplies for candidates from all over the country. Each candidate was also given a gift of locally produced products from Henan.
In this round of C-level technical competency assessment, a total of 50 candidates successfully passed the final review, with 50 candidates actually participating. During the assessment period, the order was well maintained, and all participants voluntarily complied with the examination rules, with no instances of misconduct. The entire examination process was recorded, ensuring fairness, impartiality, scientific rigor, and adherence to regulations. With the joint efforts of multiple parties, this round of examinations were conducted smoothly and successfully concluded.
Henan Province had previously hosted a C-level technical competency assessment in 2018, and the fact that CRAC was again entrusted with this task after five years demonstrated their high level of trust and support for our association. The successful completion of this assessment also resulted in highly positive evaluations of our association's organizational arrangements and planning processes.
