在压接馈线头的过程中，我发现如果将馈线的屏蔽层和馈线头外金属部分连接，手台观察到的无信号状态下信号强度为 S0。但是如果不相连接，无信号状态下的信号强度能达到 S6。但是我买来的新馈线测得的底噪也是 S6，这是否意味着我买的这个厂家没接好屏蔽层和馈线头？

我觉得可以说明没做好。如果有万用表，量一下馈线两侧金属头之间的电阻，看看通不通。

屏蔽层之所以被叫做屏蔽层，就是为了屏蔽馈线内传输的信号对外界产生的干扰、同时也避免外界干扰到馈线；还有就是可以避免馈线本身被当做天线进行做工（可参考剥皮馈线充当应急天线的案例）；所以馈线制作时一定要进行良好的焊接或者压接。

I think it's clear that we haven't done a good job.
If you have a multimeter, measure the resistance between the two metal contacts on either side of the cable to see if it's conducting.

BG5VQE I don't have a multimeter, but I do have a multimeter that can test continuity. When I tested it, it showed continuity. So, the background noise is definitely related to this shielding layer, right? I'll try buying from a different store next time and see if that makes a difference.

The shielding layer is called a "shielding layer" because it prevents signals transmitted within the feeder from interfering with external devices, and also protects the feeder from external interference. Furthermore, it can prevent the feeder itself from being used as an antenna (see the example of using a stripped feeder as an emergency antenna). Therefore, proper soldering or crimping is essential when manufacturing feeders.
