As the title indicates, yesterday I went hiking with a friend who brought a small, non-digital walkie-talkie. It could only adjust frequencies and had no display screen. I used the built-in scanner on my 8800 to scan for frequencies, and it showed "NONE" at a sub-audible frequency. After confirming that the sub-audible frequency was off, and that the channels were consistent, I realized that I could only receive; however, when I spoke into the walkie-talkie, it didn't pick up my voice.
When I returned home, I tested with my other UV83 radio using the same method and parameters, and it worked normally for both sending and receiving.
I searched on Douyin and found that many people were experiencing similar problems. My preliminary conclusion is:
1. Currently, the issue seems to be related to my machine and its settings.
2. How to troubleshoot the cause of problems with a simple walkie-talkie?
Have you ever experienced this problem with ham?
