This article assumes that you are using Windows as your operating system, with an FT-891 radio and the N1MM software.
To complete the configuration, you will need at least the following items.
Install software
Install the following software and update it to the appropriate version.
Configuring the FT-891

Configuration software
Assume COM3 is for enhanced communication and COM4 is for standard communication.
Configure MMTTY
Open MMTTY. Select Options - Setup MMTTY. Modify the following settings.
TX
- Set the call sign in the macro.
- Configure PTT & The port in FSK is EXTFSK64.
Soundcard
- Set "Reception" to the microphone input corresponding to the radio.
- Set transcription to output through the speaker corresponding to the radio.
Enable monitoring functionality to prevent issues such as no sound.

After completing the above settings, a small window will pop up, setting the PORT to COM4. Set FSK output to DTR. Set PTT output to RTS.
Configuring N1MM
The configuration is very similar to that of other N1MM radios. See also: Downloading, installing, and configuring the N1MM log software; creating, entering, and exporting competition logs.。
Configure these settings in the "Configuration" section, specifically for port, mode, and Winkey.

Open the window - digital interface.
At this point, RTTY Engine 1 will pop up, allowing you to check the audio input status.
Open settings in the digital interface.

Save settings.
The competition can now begin.
