Hello everyone!
Today is February 3, 2025.
New year, I've been working on some boards gradually, and have encountered some challenges along the way. I'm also learning and summarizing my experiences.
1. Do not use 49S and 49U crystal oscillators; they are too difficult to work with and require frequent adjustments. I recommend using a TCXO instead, which is also relatively inexpensive.
2. Using a beginner-friendly resource like the 8051 series, it's possible to create something, but I recommend using Arduino Nono instead. It's easier for beginners, and there are many pre-made codes available. Once you understand the logic and principles, you can quickly build something. For example, I've been working on this for 2 years, but I almost gave up a few times in the middle.
3. Briefly describe the overall situation of the main board.
1) Microcontroller: STC8G1K17A, SOP8
2) SI5351A
3) EC11 is a very common encoder.
4) OLED I2C screen with hand-drawn font in the middle; using a pre-made one would have been much more difficult.
That's all for now, thank you!
