I'll add some more information.
Pressing the 5-key allows you to enter the starting (lowest) frequency for scanning, and the asterisk (*) represents the decimal point. Press "M" to confirm.
You can adjust the sweep frequency interval by setting 1 and 7 to lower or increase it. The default value is 25 kHz.
Pressing "4" allows you to switch between scanning frequencies; the default is 64, with a maximum of 128.
By adjusting settings 3 and 9, you can reduce or increase the level of background noise.
