QuanSheng K5: I need to know if it's a high-level or low-level effective repeater. What does "high-level effective" mean? How do I specifically measure it using a multimeter, setting it to DC voltage, with the black probe on the screw hole and the red probe on the speaker's positive terminal, listening to a specific frequency, for example, monitoring 438.500 MHz. When a signal enters at this frequency and the speaker produces sound, the voltage changes from 0V to a high voltage; the exact value doesn't matter. When the signal disappears, the speaker stops producing sound, and the voltage returns to 0V. This indicates that the repeater is working effectively at a high level. Conversely, a low-level effective repeater would have the opposite behavior. Then I can purchase the appropriate voltage repeater board.
I have tested the QuanSheng K5, and it works effectively at high levels, so I need to purchase a repeater board that is effective at high levels, as shown in the following figure:
The microphone on the board in the image needs to be connected to the positive terminal of the handheld microphone. How do I determine which is the positive and negative terminal? Using a multimeter, touch the black probe to the screw hole and the red probe to the pin of the handheld microphone. When the multimeter makes a sound, this indicates that the pin is the negative terminal. Then connect the wire to the other pin.

How to find "busy"?
To find "busy", look on the audio amplifier. When a signal comes in and the speaker produces sound, set the multimeter to DC voltage mode. Place the black probe on the screw hole and the red probe on the pins of the chip. When there is sound, the voltage at this pin will change from 0V to a high voltage. When there is no sound, the voltage will drop back to 0V. This indicates that this pin is "busy". Connect "busy" to this pin.
Connect "spk" directly to the rightmost pin of the potentiometer.
Connect "ptt" to the positive terminal.
You can also connect "gnd" to the screw hole.
