On December 28, 2024, the 30th anniversary celebration of the Jinan Amateur Radio Association was held grandly at the Jinan Yanzi Shan Hotel. Leaders from the Chinese Amateur Radio Society and representatives from the Jinan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau were present, along with over 200 leaders, members, and guests from various sectors of society.

These pioneering figures, who once led and guided the association's development through selfless dedication, looked back on their past with deep reflection. Their presence served as a strong link, clearly connecting the association's 30-year history, allowing every participant to deeply appreciate the association's solid foundation and enduring legacy.
Many amateur radio enthusiasts from across the country also came to attend this event, which was specifically designed for them. A senior member expressed his excitement: "This association is like our home, it has accompanied us in our growth and witnessed all aspects of our passion for amateur radio. Here, we not only explored the endless possibilities of technology, but also gained friends who share our interests and created countless unforgettable memories." The attendees enthusiastically shared their stories about connecting with amateur radio, recounting how they formed friendships through the transmission of signals across mountains and seas, all while laughing and talking.
During his speech, Yu Shaoqing, the president of the Amateur Radio Division of the China Association of Radio Industry, highly praised the achievements of the Jinan City Amateur Radio Association over the past 30 years: "Through 30 years of steadfastness and development, the Jinan City Amateur Radio Association has achieved remarkable results in popularizing radio knowledge, cultivating professional personnel, and promoting technological advancements. It has set an example for amateur radio associations across the country, and we hope that it will continue to play a leading role in the future, creating even greater achievements."
Hou Chen, Director of the Wireless Radio Management Office of the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, also stated that he would continue to support the development of the association and encourage it to actively explore technological innovation and application, as well as contribute more to the economic and social development of the local area.
At the conference, Mr. Gao Changyan, president of the Jinan City Amateur Radio Association, presented the association's history over its 30 years of operation. Secretary-General Wang Baolin announced outstanding members, active participants, and advanced collectives who had made significant contributions to the association, highlighting the positive energy within the organization.
邵华斌, a senior member and former vice-chairman of the Jinan Amateur Radio Association, spoke on behalf of the association at its founding: "In 1994, a group of amateur radio enthusiasts, driven by their passion and aspirations, came together. Although they came from different industries and backgrounds, their shared belief bound them together. Over thirty years, they have witnessed the remarkable achievements of the Jinan Amateur Radio Association."
Advisor Mr. Yu Ning, with evident excitement, stepped up to the podium to share his experiences. "From my initial contact with amateur radio to gradually becoming part of this community, I have experienced an unprecedented warmth and strength. Here, we work together to study technology, participate in emergency communication support, and strive to promote knowledge of radio. Every event, every exchange, has further strengthened my commitment to working alongside the association." His words were sincere and heartfelt, eliciting strong resonance from the members present, accompanied by thunderous applause that continued for a long time.
Subsequently, representative Meng Qingtao of the association's active members also took to the stage and spoke: "As a member of the association, I am honored to be here today. Through this conference, I have gained a deeper understanding of the association's glorious history and profound foundation, as well as the selfless dedication and outstanding achievements of our predecessors. This has filled me with anticipation for my future in the association. I will learn from the excellent examples set by our predecessors, diligently study radio knowledge and skills, actively participate in various activities of the association, and contribute my own modest efforts to the development of the association, ensuring that this positive energy continues to be passed down through us."
During the banquet, renowned host A Qing and Ting Ting skillfully and warmly led the entire event, adding a lot of luster to it. The vibrant cultural performance reached its climax, with a full house at the event venue and a lively atmosphere.
The winners of the Shandong Provincial Folk Song Competition, Pan Ying, and the first-place winner of the Shandong Province's inaugural Guitar Performance Competition, Xue Lingguo, along with Zhou Ziwei (a national advanced vocal training teacher, a member of the China Musical Theatre Association, and a board member of the Jinan Original Music Society), Chen Yan (from the "Yan Guo" band), Cao Hong (from "Old Boy Band"), and the "Yan Guo" artistic team, all performed impressive cultural performances at the celebratory banquet. Each performance was filled with heartfelt congratulations for the association's 30th anniversary, earning enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.
In the future, the Jinan City Amateur Radio Association will continue to uphold its principles, strive forward, innovate, and work together with various forces to write a brilliant chapter for amateur radio, and tirelessly promote the wide application and development of radio technology in the new era.
