In late May, Chongqing experienced heavy rainfall. I had recently installed a GP antenna (manufactured by Mr. Ye) at my home, and suddenly discovered that the 20m and 10m 7300MHz band tuners were no longer working correctly. When I checked with a spectrum analyzer, I found that neither of these frequency bands showed any resonance points.

I consulted with Mr. Ye, tried replacing several feed lines, but the problem persisted. I then suspected that the harmonic trap was filled with water.
Over the weekend, I disassembled it to inspect and then reassembled it. After that, the flow regulator started leaking.

Upon opening the hydrophone, I observed that there was water inside the coil, which affected its performance. The main issue is that the drain hole was not located at the bottom.

The unit was dried, and a drainage hole was drilled in the bottom of the enclosure, taking into account its horizontal mounting design.

I also found that the wind rope had deteriorated, using old umbrella rope, and the outer layer was damaged. However, the inner core was still in good condition; after removing it, I tested its strength, and it was still usable. For safety reasons, I decided to replace them all at once.

After the repair, the resonance point reappeared.

Add a waterproof measure to the cable head to prevent water from entering.

Okay, it's getting dark.

That's all, thank you everyone.
