2025 World Wide Award event

The World Wide Award 2025 event will officially commence on January 1, 2025, at 00:00 (UTC time). We encourage all HAMs to actively participate and strive for recognition. Background of the event: "World Wide Award"（WWA）It is a worldwide radio communication event initiated by the organizers of WRTC2022, aimed at commemorating Guglielmo Marconi, a famous pioneer in wireless telegraphy and the founder of practical radio communication, who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1909.

Event duration: From January 1, 2025, 00:00 UTC to January 31, 2025, 23:59 UTC; Modes: SSB, CW, DIGI (including RTTY/PSK31/FT8/FT4). bi3vrr Apologies, I forgot to include the call signs for this activity in the previous post. The call signs for the BY area are: "BY1RX/BY2AA/BA3RA/BY4DX/BY5HB/BY6SX/BA7CK/BY8GA/BG9MM/BY0AB". You can use a wide-ranging call, such as "CQ WWA BY8GA", to try and connect. Once you receive the signal on the frequency, you can track it.

There is no fixed frequency; the data mode typically uses the frequencies of standard FT8 or FT4. SSB and CW are within the designated amateur radio bands, so you just need to respond. The operator will record and upload in real-time. You can go to the QRZ website to find the page link for connecting with other stations, where you can see if your connection was successful and view a list of previously connected activity stations. Whether or not you keep a log is entirely up to you; you don't need to upload it.
