最近买了一根2.4米的UV玻璃钢天线，还没架设，南方地区雷电比较多，要怎么做防雷呢？周围没有比较高的建筑物，更别说避雷针了把架天线的棒子接地有没有效果?

zhou2008 I don't see any need for it. If you're really worried, you could ground the antenna, but that would increase the chance of lightning striking the antenna itself... However, using a connector to pull out during rainy days is more reliable. I also use this method in my apartment building, simply throwing the feed line outside the window.

如果附近有手机基站塔，且距离不远，或者旁边有比你高的建筑物，就还好一点，如果是旷野唯独你的天线最高，那就要想办法弄避雷针，这个比较困难，建议找专业队伍，地下埋铜板做接地体，而且要检测接地电阻小于4Ω。馈线串接N型接口的对应工作频率的避雷器，但是避雷器只负责感应雷，直击雷依赖避雷针的同时，主要是靠虔诚的祈祷。网上流传的那个雷击中大楼中部的视频，拐着弯下来的。

Even if it works well, it can only protect against induced lightning; it's useless against direct lightning strikes. It won't activate the safety device in time, and by then, the damage is already done inside the machine.
The best solution is physical isolation (removing the antenna).
