First, use the adjusted dipole antenna and a 40cm PVC pipe to extend it out to the balcony. With 1W power output and a signal of 59++, after adjustment, today's test showed completely no background noise, and the neighboring station reported a signal similar to mine.
Add reflector elements to form a dual-Yagi antenna. Under the same conditions, the directionality towards the repeater is 59 degrees++, 90 degrees++ in both directions, and 180 degrees in the opposite direction is 59 degrees. Consider building reflections.
Due to the lack of reflected signals and insufficient signal quality, the comparison between with and without reflection is not significant.
Plan: This weekend, I will test direct communication with friends in Guangzhou and Foshan using the 438000 frequency.
