This is my first post. If there's anything wrong with it, please let me know.
Let's take a look at what a QSL card looks like first.

What conditions are required to apply for this QSL card?
As shown in the image, you can apply after performing the following operations:
- Communicate with an astronaut.
- Data packet
- Receive SSTV
- Send ARPs
- Using the ISS transponder
How to apply?
According to the ARISS official website, the QSL card needs to be sent to the designated organization in Japan for the Asia-Pacific region. The address is as follows (please write it on the envelope in this format):
ARISS Japan QSL card
JARL International Section
Otsuka HT Building
3-43-1 Minamiotsuka
Toshima-ku
Tokyo 170-8073
JAPAN
The letter should include a reception report (or QSL card, SWL card; if receiving SSTV, the received image).TwoIRC, write your own letter with your address on it.
The report should include the following information.
- Date
- UTC time
- Frequency
- Mode
- Your call sign
A small suggestion:
- When sending them out, use C5 envelopes for convenience in applying postage and writing addresses, along with DL envelopes.
- The postal worker might tell you that you didn't write the recipient's name, and you can simply say that it wasn't intended for a specific individual.
- Send an airmail letter
- If you don't register, it's usually 19 yuan; if you register, it's 19 yuan plus 3 yuan. You can also buy discounted postage stamps in advance and stick them on, which will save you money.
- I sent it and received it back within two weeks each time, so you should generally receive it within a month or two. Just be patient.
Finally, I wish everyone success in applying for their QSL card.
