心血来潮，自己动手利用音频转接板做了一根线，想利用手机和手台玩APRS。一通折腾发现手机发出的音量没法触发VOX，无论是APRSdroid还是SSTV都不行。有什么办法可以调整手台的VOX的灵敏度吗？或者说让手机出来的声音大一些。现在将就用也能发报，但是自己需要即操作手机又控制手台PTT有些繁琐，失去了自动信标的快乐。

I need help. The volume output from APRSdroid cannot trigger the vox on my radio.

I had an idea and decided to build my own audio-to-serial converter using a breakout board, so I could use it with my phone and handheld radio for APRS. After some experimentation, I found that the volume from my phone couldn't trigger VOX, and neither APRSdroid nor SSTV worked.
Are there any ways to adjust the sensitivity of the VOX on my headset, or make the sound coming from my phone louder?
Currently, I can use both a handheld radio and my mobile phone to transmit, but it's somewhat cumbersome to operate both devices simultaneously. This eliminates the convenience of automatic beacons.

xyzyx Unfortunately, there's no straightforward solution. You could either use the phone's audio output to trigger a relay, or directly connect the PTT and GND from the handheld radio. Before transmitting audio from the phone, hold down the external PTT button.

The VOX trigger threshold on the handset can be adjusted in the menu, and you can also increase the volume of your phone.

I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the trigger threshold for my UV-K6. Currently, I'm using the "losehu" firmware, but I haven't been able to find the location where the threshold can be adjusted.

Try again: After connecting the cable, press and hold the PTT button. Play audio on your phone, and observe the size of the audio received by the other device.

The VOX sensitivity can be adjusted within the settings.
