Interestingly, even less popular bands can be quite active during periods of good propagation. Today, I'll share some of my main DX logs, and I hope that HAMs will also become more active on these "less popular" bands.

When solar activity is good, 12 meters performs well, but 12 meters does not have as much bandwidth as 10 meters and 15 meters, because it is an independent WARC band. BH7JUO I use a balcony-mounted whip antenna plus a matching coil, and typically operate during the day on several frequency bands (10-12-15 MHz) to monitor FT8 decoding. I choose the band with the most activity. The 17-meter band is also quite good, with propagation between 15 and 20 meters. Last year, I tried using a cheap inverted V antenna with a J88IH and FS4WBS receiver in the Caribbean at dusk, but it was noisy.
