Section 9: Cyberbullying
Online abusive information refers to content that is published online in the form of text, images, audio, video, etc., and contains insults, abuse, defamation, incitement of hatred, coercion, violation of privacy, and other illegal and harmful content that negatively affects a person's physical and mental health, such as accusations, ridicule, discrimination, and disparagement.
Cyberbullying not only infringes on citizens' legitimate rights and disrupts online order, it also damages the online ecosystem and can even lead to others experiencing "social death," mental instability, or suicide.
The community encourages users to express themselves and also aims to provide every user with an equal and friendly space for communication and interaction. The platform promotes the following behavioral principles:
First, respect differences and treat others or groups equally, embracing and understanding their differences and choices.
Second, make benevolent assumptions, interpret the views and behaviors of others with empathy, and fully understand the truth before expressing your own opinions.
Third, express yourself kindly and rationally, conveying goodwill through objective and reasoned viewpoints.
The HamCQ community is committed to providing users with a safe, harmonious, and friendly environment. It strives to prevent and combat various forms of abuse that violate user rights, including the use of text, images, videos, and other content formats to insult, defame, maliciously speculate about, infringe on reputation, expose privacy, conduct "doxing," and engage in other forms of online harassment against individuals or groups. The community firmly opposes any behavior that violates users' legitimate rights.
Due to the inherent ambiguity of the concept of "online harassment," the community allows users to express opinions, including critical or negative information, while encouraging open discussion. However, it is important to distinguish between legitimate criticism and online harassment. The community sets certain expectations for users regarding their language, motivations, and behavior, emphasizing rational discussion and respect for others' viewpoints. This aims to promote understanding, improve communication, and foster meaningful dialogue, rather than resorting to abusive, aggressive, or demeaning language and attitudes that involve malicious attacks, harm, and humiliation of others.
Users are prohibited from posting abusive content on the platform, and also from inciting or encouraging other users to post such content or engage in related behavior.
First, it is prohibited to use abusive, discriminatory language that attacks or defames others based on their appearance, gender, race, identity, social status, or other personal characteristics.
Second, it is prohibited to spread false information about others with the intent of damaging their reputation and credibility.
Third, it is prohibited to threaten or intimidate others through words or actions, endangering their physical safety, property, or social standing.
Fourth, it is prohibited to violate others' privacy by maliciously collecting and exposing personal information for purposes such as harassment and extortion.
Fifth, the publication of various types of information that may cause psychological, emotional, or social harm to others, including but not limited to sarcasm, moral coercion, malicious speculation, and discrimination.
Sixth, the creation and dissemination of subjective, negative information based on unverified events.
Seventh, using specific events to attack, insult, or accuse individuals involved in those events.
Eighth, creating and disseminating content that mocks, parodies, or ridicules others' images, names, videos, etc., for purposes such as insults, defamation, or sarcasm, except for reasonable comments on public figures.
Ninth, exposing accounts and related information that may reveal personal details, including but not limited to: ID numbers, residential addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, bank statements, social security numbers, or passport numbers.
Tenth, in specific situations, even without using abusive or aggressive language, publishing content that is sarcastic, malicious, or otherwise offensive and harassing.
Eleventh, other content that may provoke or exacerbate online violence.
