The radio station number standardization is now a 12-digit format: AR + 4-digit area code + 4-digit year + 5-digit serial number. This follows the requirements specified in https://www.miit.gov.cn/jgsj/wgj/gzdt/art/2020/art_8ba1bebd1f4f47edb589a3d0c165b714.html
According to the "Guidance on Issuance of Ground-Based Radio Station Licenses" (Part 1), the license must clearly state the content and requirements.
The license must specify the license number, the location of the radio station (including track information), and
Station location, usage frequency, transmission power, validity period, and other requirements.
1. License number
The license number consists of letters and numbers, totaling 18 characters. The license number is issued by the issuing authority.
The radio management agency responsible for issuing licenses for the operation of FM radio stations (stations) is responsible for compiling.
The numbering rule is year + institution code + administrative division code + station (site) category.
Do not include the serial number.
When renewing a radio station license at the end of its validity period, according to regulations, the license number should be assigned based on the previous one.
The rules have been revised and rewritten.
（1）Year
Using 4 digits to represent, used for identifying approved settings and use of radio stations.
The year for which the (station) obtained its administrative permit.
（2）Institutional attribute code
Using a single letter to represent the issuing agency for radio station licenses.
- The national radio management agency uses the letter "G".
- Each provincial (district, municipal) radio management agency uses the letter "S".
- Issuing of non-standard ship radio licenses by relevant government departments
