The certificate I received at the beginning of last month ( )

There are two levels of operation licenses available here: basic and advanced. Additionally, there is an optional 5 WPM Morse code exam.
The power limits for all frequency bands of a basic license are 250W (carrier power 190W), while the power limit for an advanced license is 1kW (carrier power 750W).
The basic question bank contains approximately 650 questions (similar to the B license exam), and during the exam, 100 questions are randomly selected. Passing requires answering at least 70 questions correctly (I answered 84 correctly).
Specifically, if you answer at least 80 questions correctly (Basic with Honour), you can use all frequencies up to 30 MHz. Otherwise, you cannot operate on shortwave.
The exam is typically conducted online (though an in-person option is also available), with HAM acting as a volunteer proctor. The examiner has the right to charge reasonable fees.
After taking the exam, you simply need to submit your stage request online. You can choose your call sign (either 2x3 or randomly assigned), and you will usually receive it on the same day (receiving a paper certificate takes 3-4 days).
(Back home, I only had a Class A license, but here I can immediately start using shortwave radio.))
