Recently, the main poster purchased a set of what was described as "standard-grade" 6-meter band Yagi antenna from BG7XWF. The main mast is approximately 6 meters long, with 6 elements. Due to some reasons that were not explicitly mentioned, the original remote station's tower design has been discontinued. I plan to retrieve it and re-install it soon. Because the price of towers at high locations is expensive, I can only compromise on the installation height, which will be between 3 and 4.8 meters. This is far from a full wavelength, and at this height, the antenna's elevation angle will increase significantly, making it even more difficult to connect with distant stations. I recall seeing something similar in an article on the website of a well-known DX operator (possibly W7GJ or another 6-meter band expert) where they mentioned adjusting the antenna's tilt to compensate for this issue. I am wondering if this is feasible, and I would like to ask for advice from experienced members of this forum!
